How it works
Ranked 1v1 duels: you climb or drop in the ranking depending on your results. Everything you need to know before you start.
How a game goes
- The lobby. Connect to the lobby server (TimeAttack, several maps) to warm up freely.
- Search. In the « Matchmaking 1v1 » panel, click Search: you enter the queue.
- Matchmaking. The system finds you an opponent of similar level. Click Join.
- Warm-up. A warmup of 35–65 s (depending on tier) starts as soon as both players are in (free runs).
- The match. Round after round, the fastest scores the point. First to 7 points wins.
- The end. Result screen with the MMR gain/loss, then back to the lobby.
Ranking (MMR)
Your level is an MMR (Elo system). You start at 0. After each match, the winner gains some and the loser loses some; beating someone stronger pays more (K factor = 32). Only players who have played at least one match appear in the ranking.
| Tier | MMR | Map difficulty |
|---|---|---|
| Master | 900+ | Expert · ~45 s |
| Gold | 525 – 899 | Hard · ~40 s |
| Silver | 225 – 524 | Medium · ~35 s |
| Bronze | under 225 | Easy · ~25 s |
Each tier (except Master) has 3 divisions — III, II, I (I = highest). Maps come in 3 styles (Tech, Dirt, FullSpeed); each match draws a random map in the style and tier matching your level.
Matchmaking
At the start of the search, the system looks for an opponent within ± 150 MMR. The longer you wait, the wider the range (+25 every 10 s) to find you a match even when few players are online.
The rules
- Quitting mid-match: loss by forfeit (counts as a normal ranked loss).
- Dodge (match found but you don't join, or you leave before the start): -10 MMR and no new search for 120 s.
- Inactivity (AFK): if you finish no round for 5 rounds in a row, the match is awarded to your opponent.
- Placement: your first 5 games, your MMR moves faster to place you quickly (shown on your profile).
